In 1995 he created Pepe Gimeno - Proyecto Gráfico and moved the studio to Godella. For three years he gave classes in graphic design at the CEU San Pablo School in Valencia. In 1990 he teamed up with Nacho Lavernia and the studio was renamed Gimeno Lavernia. In 1987 he was appointed as President of the Association of Designers of the Community of Valencia (ADCV). Later, he shared the studio with Daniel Nebot, Vicente Martínez and Lola Castelló. From then on he worked in a number of advertising agencies in Madrid and Valencia until, in 1986, he set up his own studio. Pepe Gimeno graduated from the Valencia School of Arts and Crafts in 1970.
